Domestic Violence Injunctions
Representation at temporary and final injunction hearings.
Injunctions (restraining orders) in Florida can be sought under dating violence, domestic violence, repeat violence, and sexual violence statutes. A granted injunction can restrict where you live, work, and see your children—and violation is a criminal offense.
Types of Injunctions
- Domestic Violence (DV)
- Repeat Violence
- Dating Violence
- Sexual Violence
What to Expect
A temporary injunction may be issued ex parte (without you present). You are entitled to a hearing within 15 days. At the final hearing, both sides present evidence. Preparation and cross-examination are essential.
Why Hire Counsel?
Injunctions often overlap with parallel criminal cases. Statements in civil court can affect criminal prosecutions. Angie Pagán Law coordinates your defense across both proceedings.
